I'm an Aussie author and editor of fiction and nonfiction books. I like to read and write stories about ordinary people thrown into extraordinary situations. My favourite stories have strong, believable characters, and feature fun and friendship with a dash of action and adventure.

After completing a Bachelor of Science with majors in Computer Science and Zoology, I worked in Information Technology in various roles including software developer, database administrator and web developer, before a career change to the publishing field.

I've always been fascinated by the natural world and the wonders of science, and I love to read and escape to worlds unknown, so writing science fiction was a natural progression. I live in tropical North Queensland, Australia.

My first novel, Unexpected, was not the type of novel I had initially planned (or expected!) to write. But the idea of a woman and a big, shaggy, black dog unexpectedly finding themselves on a starship lodged itself in my mind and their story demanded to be told. I had fun writing it and I hope you enjoy it too!
